Although I fly and have flown in some others, I figured to start one of my own as well.
Why?
Because I find that most of the VA’s start too big! Yes, that’s right. Even with 5 or 10 pilots they all start with tons of aircraft and many hubs and routes. Because they want to attract pilots, and having the entire world on one’s PC to choose from, the people want to have total freedom of flying where they want, when they want and with what they want.
That’s fine, and fun……. but hardly realistic.
So MY company will start with only two old aircraft (alright, make that three then), one Hub and one remote office (which is also called a ‘hub’ due to the admin software used), and a limited number of jobs to perform. Just like one would do in the real world.
And maybe, just maybe when you read this we have grown into a major airline. That would be some 10 years after I’ve written this, or never.
